Michael Anthony Salon Featuring Keune Color and Products

We are excited to announce that we are now featuring Keune color and products at the salon.

As we celebrate our tenth-year anniversary and enter a new decade of Michael Anthony Salon, we look back with pride at what we have accomplished during our first decade – building a talented staff that provides high-quality service and expertise, while keeping an eye on the ever-changing trends and using products that help us do our best work. At the same time, we are always looking for ways to build upon that success and working to constantly improve upon what we offer at the salon.

With that in mind, we have some exciting news! We will now be using Keune hair color and products at the salon. Bringing in this new color line will take our hair color offerings to a higher level and give us new and expanded tools to provide the high-quality services you have come to know. And the Keune retail line is a game changer for the salon, enabling us to offer the best at-home care for all hair types.

A little about Keune: The company was started in 1922 by Jan Keune in Amsterdam and is still family owned to this day by his son and two grandsons. In looking at various product lines over the last year, we found that Keune offered the right combination of high-quality products, education, support, and values that would make for a fantastic partnership for our own family owned small business. We will continue to carry R+Co. and some, but not all, of the other retail products we have featured at the salon. To make room for Keune, we will no longer keep in stock most Michael Anthony Salon DC products. However, we can always special order Michael Anthony Salon DC products (as well as other types of products) and have them at the salon within 1-2 business days.

For existing clients, if you are concerned how this will affect your current color service, we’ve got you covered. All of our stylists here at Michael Anthony Salon are excellent colorists and well educated for this new color conversion.
